Aldridge Court Nursing Home is operated by Charmend Limited (company no. 01824692), Little Aston Road, Aldridge, Walsall WS9 0NN. When you contact us — by phone, by form on this website, or in person — we collect the details you give us (name, contact details, and anything you tell us about the care someone needs) so that we can respond to your enquiry, arrange visits or assessments, and keep in touch about the care you have asked about. That is our lawful basis: taking steps at your request before entering into a care agreement, and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries.
We do not sell or share your details for marketing. Enquiry records are kept for up to 18 months if you do not become a resident, then deleted; residents’ records are kept as required by law and our regulator. You may ask at any time to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you: write to the Home Manager at the address above or email enquiry@aldridgecourt.co.uk. If you are unhappy with how we handle your information you may complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
Because we provide care, an enquiry often includes information about someone’s health and care needs — sometimes about a person other than the one contacting us. We use it only to advise you and to plan any assessment or stay, under the legal provisions for health and social care (UK GDPR Article 9(2)(h), with the safeguards in Schedule 1 of the Data Protection Act 2018), and we hold it in confidence in the same way as our care records. Please share only what we need in order to help.
